Programming Contests - A Guide for Freshers

3

Hello freshers!

RECursion is here to help you in understanding what programming contests are. Since competitive programming is a brain sport, it has competitions like any other sport. The participant has to solve programming tasks in a specified amount of time and yes, there is a leaderboard .

RECursion insists regular participation in the programming contests held on the following three platforms:
- CodeChef
- Codeforces
- AtCoder
If you haven't registered on some of the sites mentioned above, please do it at the earliest.

We also encourage you to actively discuss programming problems in the WhatsApp groups of RECursion and promote a healthy competition in our institute.

You can ask anything regarding programming contests in the comments of this blog. Got more doubts? Ask it on AskREC or in the WhatsApp groups.
Happy Coding 😃
